  • Less than 30 days prior to arrival: 100% of the total booking amount will be charged.

  • No-Shows & Same-Day Cancellations: Cancellations made on the day of the activity, or failure to arrive at the designated meeting time, will be charged the full 100% price.

3. Cancellations During Activities (No Refunds)

No refunds will be issued for the following scenarios:

  • Guests who choose not to participate on the day due to personal reasons.

  • Guests who are refused boarding due to safety restrictions discovered on-site (e.g., non-swimmers, undisclosed pregnancy, children under 10).

  • On-Boat Cancellations: Any dives cancelled by the guest while already on the boat trip will be charged the full price.

  • Equalization Issues: Divers who cannot equalize their ear pressure underwater and must abort the dive will be charged for at least one single dive, plus any destination upgrade fees (e.g., Mnemba Atoll trip fees). No discounts will be applied.

  • Discover Scuba Diving (DSD): Guests who decide to discontinue the DSD experience after the initial pool or shallow ocean training will be charged a flat fee of $50 USD per person.

  • PADI Courses: Cancellations or failure to complete a PADI certification course are non-refundable. Depending on instructor availability, we may offer the option to reschedule your course.

4. Weather-Related Cancellations

  • Cancelled by Fun Divers Zanzibar: If our Captain or Dive Management cancels an activity due to unsafe ocean or weather conditions, guests will be offered alternative dates. If rescheduling is not possible, an optional refund will be provided for the missed activity.

  • Cancelled by Guest: Weather conditions (e.g., overcast skies, rain) are not considered a valid reason for guest cancellation unless the port authority or our team deems it unsafe. Normal cancellation fees apply.
